More information on Can-Am’s 2017 Spyder lineup is trickling out of Orlando, Florida, where Can-Am is holding its annual dealer meeting. We got a glimpse of the new F3-T “bagger” and the sporty F3-S, which now includes a Sport riding mode for controlled real-wheel drifts, at the end of June. Can-Am has now announced a further expansion in the F3 line with the top-of-the-line F3 Limited and a new, lower price on the base F3.
The 2017 Can-Am F3 Limited is designed to offer the ultimate in two-up cruiser touring. As with all F3 models, the F3 Limited’s UFit system allows the rider to customize the handlebar and footpeg positions for optimum cruising comfort. It features a removable top case with integrated passenger backrest and enough room to hold two full-face helmets. The F3 Limited also includes several comfort and convenience features previously found only on Can-Am’s RT touring models, such as automatic, self-inflating air suspension, heated grips, footboards and a six-speaker audio system. The F3 Limited will be available in Steel Black Metallic, Pearl White or Intense Pearl Red, for $29,849.
Also new for 2017 is a lower starting price–almost 15 percent lower than previous model years–for the base model F3, which makes it the most affordable Spyder F3 ever. Can-Am’s research has shown that approximately one-third of F3 owners are first-time riders, so the new lower price supports the focus on making Spyder ownership as accessible as possible. You can have your base F3 in any color you want, so long as it’s black (Steel Black Metallic, to be precise), for $16,999.
