Six Degrees of Temptation: Ridden and Rated Special

When Victory fired off the invite for its 2013 Boardwalk model launch, we looked up from our meatball subs, wiped the marinara sauce from our chins and simultaneously exclaimed, “What!? It’s time for the 2013s already?” Heck, there’s still some Boone’s Farm Strawberry Hill and cheese weenies leftover from our Y2K party in the office fridge. About then we also realized we had not yet tested a few important bikes that are new or updated for 2012, so we got on the horn, found it decidedly uncomfortable and picked up the phone instead, rounding up these five bikes to put through the wringer. Even slightly damp they all work exceptionally well.

If there’s a trend, a common thread, something that binds the six bikes we have gathered here, it was entirely unintentional. Really. They are one heckuva lot of fun, but other than all having two wheels and an affinity for fossil fuel, that’s about it. But hey, variety is the spice of life! Or was that oregano? In any event, we hope you find this Ridden & Rated special section as zesty and flavorful as a meatball sandwich. Please try to keep it off your shirt.
