Jims has released a must-have crankcase splitting tool for Harley-Davidson Milwaukee-Eight engines. To perform lower-end services, complete rebuilds or advanced performance work properly, the M8’s cases must be split and screwdrivers aren’t the proper way to do it. This robust splitter tool is made of half-inch thick A36 hot-rolled steel and incorporates design elements to accommodate Touring and Softail H-D models. Using it couldn’t be simpler: Install the case splitter on the primary side of the engine and split the case with a few ratchet turns. MSRP is $338.
