EagleRider, which rents motorcycles and operates guided and self-guided tours from locations across the United States and around the world, has announced that it will now offer motorcycle buyers Million Mile Limited Powertrain Protection.
EagleRider’s rental fleet includes a variety of Harley-Davidson, Indian, Honda, Triumph, BMW and Polaris Slingshot models, which are regularly maintained and serviced by the company’s technical staff. When motorcycles are rotated out of the rental fleet, EagleRider makes many them available for purchase on a pre-owned basis. It also sells new motorcycles.
Complimentary powertrain coverage begins immediately following the purchase of an eligible pre-owned motorcycle. Eligible motorcycles are thoroughly inspected by EagleRider, are less than 10 years in age and have fewer than 60,000 miles on the odometer. The protection plan covers the engine, transmission, primary drive and drive axle up to one million miles.
“Our first priority continues to be improving upon our ability to enhance the EagleRider customer experience,” said Chris McIntyre, EagleRider Founder and CEO. “This additional warranty provides an added sense of assurance for buyers, whether they are first-time buyers or trading in for a newer model from the trusted EagleRider fleet.”
Additional benefits include towing reimbursement up to $75 each time, roadside assistance, rental reimbursement and the option to choose a 24-, 36- or 48-month term full wrap coverage (a warranty that goes beyond what the manufacturer offers) for a new bike or a 12-, 24- or 36-month term for a pre-owned bike.

Eagle Rider sounds like a great idea. Rather than trailer your bike cross-country as many do, you fly, rent, & ride. HOG has had a Fly ‘n Ride similar program for a long time but Eagle provides many different brands for those wanting a Harley plus alternatives; Indian, Polaris, BMW, etc.. My wife & I had only a 5-days break and inexpensively flew to Miami, rented a new Harley Electra Glide, and rode to Key West. It was a fabulous short vacation. Eagle’s prices on used bikes are also reasonable and the included warranty is a huge plus. I hope they succeed and flourish; I’d much rather hop on a plane and spend my days in the target area.
