Peninsula Signature Events has announced May 6, 2017, as the date of The Quail Motorcycle Gathering, presented by GEICO Motorcycle. The 9th annual event at Quail Lodge & Golf Club in Carmel, California, will feature hundreds of rare, immaculate vintage and modern motorcycles along with leading motorsports and lifestyle vendors, food and beverages, live music and family entertainment.

The weekend’s activities kick off on Friday, May 5th, as 100 motorcyclists weave their way throughout the Monterey Peninsula on The Quail Ride. Then on Saturday, May 6th, attendees will gather on the Quail Lodge lawn for the 9th annual The Quail Motorcycle Gathering. Alongside traditional classes, the 2017 event will include a special feature on Norton Motorcycles—Celebrating 50 Years of the Norton Commando. Those interested in displaying a motorcycle on the lawn should fill out an application form here.
Regarded as one of the nation’s most prestigious motorcycle concours, The Quail Motorcycle Gathering honors Best of Show with a Tiffany & Co trophy. The Quail Awards include first and second place in each class, the Industry Award, Design and Style Award, Spirit of The Quail Award and more. Display categories in 2017 will include: Antique, American, British, Italian, Other European, Japanese, Competition On/Off Road, Custom/Modified and Extraordinary Bicycles/Scooters, with more featured classes to be announced.
Tickets are now on sale for the 9th Annual event! Attendees can take advantage of holiday discounts by purchasing online through December 31, 2016. Entry is inclusive of a mouthwatering barbecue lunch, parking and gear valet service for those riding a motorcycle to the event!
