Look out, adventure bike riders, there’s a new rally in town! Coinciding with Americade, the world’s largest multi-brand motorcycle touring rally, the DirtDaze Adventure Bike Rally is a multi-day festival for dual-sport and adventure motorcyclists. It is held on private property with nearby dirt roads through the Adirondacks in New York and the Green Mountains in Vermont. The event is a brainchild of the organizers of Americade who began their addiction to bikes on dirt, trails and ice as foolish young men. Now they are older, still riding in the dirt and still foolish.
Attendees will enjoy on-site motorcycle demos by KTM, off-road rider training by Jimmy Lewis and Mike Lafferty, guided dual-sport rides, live music, riding games and contests, great food and camping. They will also receive free access to Americade Expo, along with its factory demo area, where manufacturers like Honda and Yamaha will be offering demo rides on the latest bikes.
There are four packages available:
- Long Hauler Pass $179 (5 days, includes a bunch of stuff with 5 nights camping)
- Adventurer Pass $139 (5 Days, includes a bunch of stuff, but no camping)
- Weekender Pass $129 (3 days, includes a bunch of stuff with 3 nights camping)
- 1 Day Pass $20 (1 Day/No Camping)
The Rally runs from July 7-11, 2016, near Lake George, New York. To learn more or to sign up, visit dirtdazerally.com.
