Given the 18 inches of snow we got 2 days ago and the 3 or 4 more due the next couple of days, this might be a very lightly attended event. Maybe my buddy with the BMW GS will attend.
February 13th? I dunno. I like a challenging ride, but here in Michigan, I’m about 6 hours away, we’re still digging out from a 12″ snow we just had. The coldest day I’ve ridden was 15 degree’s and I barely got started back up due to slow cranking of the engine after it set for 8 hours. Yes, the roads were clear and dry that day. The Widder electric leg chaps, vest , and arm chaps with gloves, were struggling to keep up with the cold.
