The company offers its customers a full array of riding gear, consisting of armored jackets and pants, gloves, helmets, panniers, soft luggage, GPS units, intercom systems and other equipment available for rental. The company’s new facility offers an array of resources for the adventure traveler as well, including a “map room” for planning, luggage room and changing area.

A grand opening event will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Arapahoe Road location, with a ribbon cutting ceremony taking place at noon. The public and press are welcome to join in the company’s festivities as they provide tours of the motorcycle showroom, retail store and maintenance shop. Food will be available at the event and beer can be purchased at Wild Woods Brewery, conveniently located next door to House of Motorrad’s new location.

The retail store and maintenance shop is geared towards adventure riders of all skill levels. House of Motorrad is an authorized dealer for Wolfman Luggage, Butler Maps, Metzler Tires, Arai and Shoei Helmets, Crampbuster and Cardo Systems among other top motorcycle brands. Visitors can browse through a large selection of helmets, gloves, maps and other riding gear. Adjacent to the showroom is a maintenance shop where customers can get their oil changed and have new tires mounted. The retail store and maintenance shop is open to the general public Thursday through Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“House of Motorrad has experienced tremendous growth throughout our three years in operations,” says Ben Kriederman, the company’s founder. “Opening a location for our rental business and new retail shop is the next step as we continue to grow and serve our customers from Colorado, across the nation and from around the world.”

The founder of Boulder-based Larkburger is a regular customer at House of Motorrad. “Every time I rent from House of Motorrad, I get a well-equipped bike that is showroom quality,” said Thomas Salamunovich. “I love the variety of riding different bikes through the mountains of Colorado. Ben and his team always give me great ideas of new places to ride, too.”

The company has plans to add several new bikes over the next year, including the much-anticipated Yamaha Super Tenere and a KTM 690 and 500EXC.
