The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show By Moto Guzzi Coming April 11-12

A free custom motorcycle, art and entertainment showcase will be held in Austin, Texas, on Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12, 2014, to coincide with the 2014 Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas. Revival Cycles, an Austin-based custom motorcycle shop, has teamed up with Moto Guzzi and Circuit of the Americas to provide the free event.

The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show is a showcase of builders and craftsmen, combining skill, knowledge and ingenuity to create one-of-a-kind handcrafted machines. The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show strives to spotlight those working in the custom motorcycle scene to create truly unique machines built to fit personalized desires of design and function.

The Second Skin Jacket Show is a showcase of vintage and modern customized moto-apparel, specifically jackets and vests, from old MC-Club pieces to contemporary one-offs, including a set of four jackets commissioned by show sponsor, REV’IT!, to be customized by Austin artists.

In addition to the custom jacket show, other attractions at The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show will include vintage death-defying stunts on The Wall of Death, the traveling Oil & Ink Vintage Motorbike Print Exposition, various other artwork from local artists, and wet-plate tintype photography by Lumiere Tintype.

The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show will be held at 1100 E. 5th St., Austin, Texas 78702. It will run from 6 p.m. to midnight on April 11, and noon to midnight on April 12. For more information, visit handbuiltmotorcycleshow.com.
