Royal Enfield has announced that its technical partnership with S&S Cycle, a leader in high-performance twin-cylinder engines and accessories, will extend into the 2021 racing season. The two brands will continue collaborating on Royal Enfield’s racing efforts, including its Build Train Race (BTR), road racing and flat track programs.

Royal Enfield and S&S Cycle have worked together to develop Royal Enfield’s American Flat Track program and custom Himalayan FT411 flat track bikes for the Royal Enfield Slide School. Beginning this year, S&S Cycle will develop parts to assist with the BTR road racing program, including exhausts, footpegs, and triple clamps, in addition to the continued support of the BTR flat track efforts. S&S Cycle is also developing a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 road racing motorcycle.

S&S Cycle is based in Viola, Wisconsin, just a short ride away from Royal Enfield North America’s headquarters in Milwaukee. S&S has established itself as a leading high-performance V-twin aftermarket parts manufacturer. It has expanded its offerings into other markets in recent years, including performance accessories for the Royal Enfield Twins range of motorcycles.

Inspired by the flat track-oriented Build Train Race success, Royal Enfield hopes to achieve the same positive results with road racing. Seven female motorcycles have been selected in the road racing BTR program and will pilot Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 motorcycles.
