Free Motorcycle Safety Classes Offered in Pennsylvania

Great news for riders in Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Motorcycle Safety Program (PA MSP) is back and is free to Pennsylvania class M permit and motorcycle license holders.

The focus of the PA MSP is to teach motorcycle riders of all skill levels the fundamentals needed to reduce risks while operating motorcycles. The program offers four courses that include beginning riders, intermediate skills, three-wheeled basics, and advanced riding skills. PA MSP manages more than 60 training sites conveniently located throughout the Commonwealth. The training season runs from March through October, with schedules varying among training sites.

Registration is now open for all courses, which are free to state residents who have a motorcycle learner’s permit or motorcycle license. The PA MSP is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
