Moto Guzzi has announced that two of its V-twin-powered standards, the Griso 1200 8V SE and the V7 Stone, will return for 2015.
The Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V SE blends unique styling and an upright riding position with a 1,151cc version of the Italian company’s distinctive, longitudinal, air/oil-cooled, 90-degree V-twin with shaft final drive. The sporty machine has wide handlebars, a tubular-steel frame, fully adjustable suspension, Brembo brakes and spoked wheels with tubeless tires. New for 2015 is the Special Edition Rosso Trophy (Matte), which features a black engine, chassis and instrument panel covers, racing footpegs, and red stitching on the seat and accents on the wheels that match the Moto Guzzi red on the fuel tank.
Available in September 2014 with an MSRP of $12,990.
The retro-styled V7 Stone—Moto Guzzi’s best-selling model—returns for 2015 with a blacked-out makeover for the mirrors, shocks, fenders and side panels. And it will be available in three colors: gloss-finish Rosso Corposo (red), satin-finish Verde Agata (military-style olive green) and the ever-popular, stealthy Matte Black. The stylish yet approachable V7 Stone has a claimed curb weight of just 395 pounds and a seat height of 31.6 inches (optional seat is 30.7 inches). It is powered by an air-cooled, longitudinal, 744cc, 90-degree V-twin with shaft final drive, carried in a tubular steel frame. Fuel capacity is 5.8 gallons and the wheels are cast aluminum.
Available in September 2014 with an MSRP of $8,490.
