The Indian Motorcycle Engineering, Design and Development team as well as Scott Wine, CEO of parent company Polaris Industries, have all signed a one of a kind Indian Chieftain gas tank. This piece of history is being auctioned to benefit the local Twin Cities YMCA in Minnesota, and is mounted in a Plexiglas display case.
The 2014 Indian Chieftain Fuel Tank is a prototype tank from the early formation of the 2014 Indian Chieftain. Includes unique features such as an illuminated feather in the start button, which was later removed before final production. This one and only tank is signed by over 70 Indian engineering and design personnel who created the state-of-the art motorcycle. All proceeds will be donated to the YMCA Youth Intervention Services to support programs that introduce at-risk youth to power sports. A plexi glass display case is included in the purchase. Also included is documentation verifying and identifying signatures, a receipt of sale for the tank plus a commemorative letter from the YMCA telling the story of how this tank will change the lives of at-risk-youth by providing a different way of life.
