The 31st annual Big East Powersports Show returns to Syracuse, New York, Oct. 3-4, showcasing the latest snowmobiles, ATVs, UTVs, and motorcycles, as well as apparel, accessories, entertainment, and more. On Saturday, Oct. 4, Editor-in-Chief Greg Drevenstedt will unveil Rider’s 2025 Motorcycle of the Year.
Our MOTY award is given annually to the new or significantly updated model that we believe best fulfills its purpose and advances the sport of motorcycling. We review and compare all eligible bikes, narrow them down to a list of contenders, and select one winner. The 2024 MOTY was the BMW R 1300 GS. You can browse through our other finalists and find out why the GS won on our 2024 Motorcycle of the Year webpost.
