Honda Announces Android Auto for Africa Twin

Honda announces Android Auto for Africa Twin.

Honda has announced that 2020 and newer Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin motorcycles will now support Android Auto, allowing riders with Android smartphones and the Android Auto app to pair their devices with their motorcycles. Once a device is paired, selecting music, taking phone calls, using navigation, reading messages and more can all be done from the Africa Twin’s switchgear or with voice commands. To utilize Android Auto, a Bluetooth headset is required.

The Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES and base-model African Twin are equipped with advanced electronics and already support Apple CarPlay. This announcement will help cover the majority of the smartphone market, as Android and Apple devices are the most dominant products used today.

Android Auto makes using your smartphone while riding safe and easy, with its simplified interface and user-friendly voice commands. Accessing music, media, navigation, messaging apps, or your Google Assistant can be done with basic voice commands, making sure riders remained focused on the road.
