The head shape is the most important information I look for in a new helmet. Most helmets are intermediate oval, but some are round oval, and some are long oval. Since I learned I have a long oval head, I generally ignore helmets that will not fit. I expect there is a sizeable number of readers who aren’t in the middle of the bell curve who should do likewise. I always appreciate it when a helmet review helps me eliminate helmets that simply won’t fit.
