Vintage motorcycle racers, restorers, collectors and fans can mark their calendars in anticipation for July 7-9, 2017, the dates for 2017 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, which features vintage motorcycle racing in numerous disciplines, bike shows, stunt shows, seminars, a swap meet with hundreds of vendors and much more, raises funds for the nonprofit AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame.
AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days traces its roots to 1990 and has been held at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course since 1995. The track is a superb location for the event, accommodating road racing, trials, hare scrambles and motocross, in addition to a full slate of non-competition events.
The announcement of the 2017 date follows the execution of a multi-year agreement with Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course to host the event.
“We could not be happier to not only announce our 2017 date this early, but to also confirm a multi-year agreement with the premier motorcycle association in the country,” said Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course President Craig Rust. “Our partnership with the American Motorcyclist Association and AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days continues to grow and is one of the fan favorites on our schedule each year.”
The 2016 event featured AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer and two-time AMA Superbike Champion Wes Cooley as its grand marshal and celebrated 40 years of the AMA Superbike Championship with the support of Suzuki Motor of America Inc.
