So far Honda has announced the return of several motorcycles for 2011, including the Fury/Fury ABS chopper, VT1300 custom line, Shadow Phantom and RS cruisers, as well as the CBR1000RR, CBR600RR (both available with ABS) sportbikes and Silver Wing scooter. More details are available elsewhere on this website. We have also learned Honda will offer a new CBR250R entry-level sportbike beginning in Spring of 2011. This bike has an all-new, 249cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with a four-valve DOHC cylinder head, engine counterbalancer and fuel injection. Honda says the dependable and lightweight machine delivers nimble handling, a broad spread of easily accessible power and low operating costs, whether the day calls for a commute to work, quick trips around town or all-day explorations in the countryside. Prices will be $3,999 for the standard and $4,499 for the ABS version; the 2011 CBR250R will come in Metallic Black and Red/Silver.
