Designed by Lino Tonti, one of the most iconic Moto Guzzis of the past is the 1971 V7 Sport Telaio Rosso, with its red frame and bright green tank and side panels. For 2015, Moto Guzzi is offering a special edition of its V7 Racer with a red frame and swingarm and the tank painted in classic Verde Legnano green. Some components that were previously chrome, such as the mirrors, fenders and side panels, are finished in black. The V7’s air-cooled, longitudinal, 90-degree V-twin displaces 744cc and actuates its two valves per cylinder with pushrods and rockers. Final drive is a cardan shaft. Exclusive to North America, only 50 examples of the V7 Racer Special Edition will be imported. If any are left, they’re available now for $10,999.
