Harley-Davidson Pan America Demo Tour

2021 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 demo tour

Harley-Davidson recently unveiled its first-ever foray into the adventure bike segment with the 2021 Pan America 1250 and Pan America 1250 Special motorcycles. Rider magazine will get a first ride on the new Pan America 1250 soon, but there’s nothing like first-hand experience.

Riders can test ride the new ADV models, which are powered by the all-new Revolution Max 1,250cc DOHC liquid-cooled 60-degree V-twin, as part of the Harley-Davidson Pan America Motorcycle Demo Tour.

The tour kicks off April 16, 2021, in Dallas, Texas, and there will be stops around the U.S. through November. Signups for H-D-hosted demos are now available here: PAN AMERICA DEMO REGISTRATION. Demo opportunities at other major adventure touring, overland events and rallies, signups will happen on location.

“I’ve had the opportunity to ride a Pan America motorcycle both on and off-road, and can’t wait for riders to experience the innovations and capabilities that our team has built into this fantastic adventure touring bike,” said Jochen Zeitz, chairman, president and CEO of Harley-Davidson. “Now riders can experience for themselves the first motorcycle of its kind to be designed and developed from the ground up in America.”

  1. So Stamford CT is supposed to service the 30 million people that live in the NY Metro (tri-state) area including SW CT, southern NY and NJ? Sigh.

  2. So I have a dealership just two miles from my home in Panama City Beach, Florida and Harley-Davidson aren’t offering demo rides for the entire Southeast of the United States? What gives?

  3. Nothing in the Midwest? Hmm . . . something off with that decision Harley . . . I might just have to look at one of the established/proven Adventure bikes then . . .

  4. I had a Pan Am ordered, then my dealer tells me that ” due to the exclusivity of the Pan America, we’ll be charging well above retail” …the reality is that if you want this bike outfitted to really ride serious off road it’s going to be over 30G OTD. So sad that a company that made itself off of representing a counter culture is now nothing more than an accessory for narcissist who MUST have people notice them. Can’t believe that they are actually going to use this strategy as they slowly die…..18 failing quarters in a row and levitating EPS with stock buy backs. I told them to keep their precious Pan Am and I’ll keep my Triumph Tiger and go buy a used Goldwing, be money ahead and have two bikes. These things are going to be Starbucks posers just like most GSA’s.

  5. I went to Get On Adv rally in SD and drove the Pan American liked it . So on my way home to Al I bought one !! Looks like I made a big mistake at less than 200 miles it developed a OIL LEAk!!!!! Been in the Harley shop for over 2 Weeks. They say they can’t get parts!!
