  1. So, where are the “new” models. Looks to me as if the PanAmerica is the only one? C’Mon H-D, prove me wrong and show us something…

  2. HD jumps into the adventure motorcycle market! What a joke—other motorcycle manufactures have been at it for decades, and HD thinks they can compete in a market with the likes of Honda, KTM, Suzuki, and others. Even if the looks of this so called adventure motorcycle don’t make you sick to your stomach I am sure the break downs and poor performance will. Oh yes HD, make noisy ear splitting aftermarket exhaust so you can annoy the whole world!!!

  3. HD needed to get into the adventure market. I enjoyed my Buell Ulysses and would have kept it but it was getting difficult to get people to work on it and after the 7 year HD support requirement was up, my local mechanic said I needed to let it go due to parts support being dropped. The BMW GS is the #1 sales leader bike for BMW. I think there’s enough room in the market to support the Pan American. The Adventure guys want to be different and the Pan American will get all the attention at the local coffee shop. Still, a Sportser Scrambler is a missed opportunity in this market! Lastly, HD Dealers have to support this new bike. I was always was viewed as a lesser rider with the Buell at most HD Dealers. I always had to wait on parts and tires.

    • The Ulysses was ahead of its time. The main thing that fails to excite on Pan American is liquid cooling and styled engine jugs. I get it, and even the GS went liquid for various reasons. But the minimalism of air cooling sets a brand apart and sells bikes.

  4. Why not try to enjoy life and focus on the Positives! Negative people are depressing to be around and our Motorcycling community would be so much more vibrant if they spent their energy on recreational activities that they can positively promote. If you like a motorcycle brand then go out and buy one. If you dislike a motorcycle brand, then quietly keep your opinion to yourself and focus on the collective positives of all motorcycling.
Lets hope the best for a 2021 recovery.

  5. HD is always big on marketing an image or lifestyle… look at the guy on the Pan American, is he dressed like Paul Revere? Is “18th century courier” the lifestyle they’re going to use to sell the PanAm?
