Husqvarna’s lineup of small-displacement, street-legal dual-sports has been updated for 2019 and includes four models: FE 250, FE 350, FE 450 and FE 501.

All are powered by liquid-cooled, four-stroke singles, ranging from 249.9cc to 511cc, with electric start, fuel injection, a new lithium-ion battery and a 6-speed transmissions with a Magura hydraulic clutch. The entire lineup has a steel double-cradle frame with a carbon fiber-reinforced polyamide subframe and a Pro Taper aluminum handlebar. They also share the same WP Xplor 48 upside-down fork and WP linkage shock with 11.8/13 inches of front/rear travel and revised settings for improved damping, single-disc brakes and DID spoked aluminum rims (21-inch front, 18-inch rear).

Dry weights range from 239 to 245 pounds, fuel capacity is 2.2 gallons and seat height is 38.2 inches, so don’t forget your stepstool! Pricing is TBD.

  1. Someday manufacturers of adventure & enduro bikes will realize that 35-38″ seat heights are deal killers for many prospective buyers. My 29″ inseam has led to me quickly selling a new Moto Guzzi Stelvio and a new BMW GS-A 1200. If the seat height is more than 29″ I’m not interested.
