At the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, KTM North America announced its 2018 street motorcycle lineup. Leading the way is the new 1290 Super Adventure S (above), a sport version of the 1290 Super Adventure R that was introduced for 2017 and returns unchanged for 2018. Other returning models include the 1090 Adventure R, 690 Duke, 390 Duke, 690 Enduro R and RC 390.

John Hinz, President of KTM North America, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming the KTM 790 Duke to the North American market in early fall of 2018 as the very first street model for 2019. The new engine generation with the 799cc LC8c parallel twin powerplant is very important for our market and our consumers, we’re very excited for the future.”

Although KTM unveiled the highly anticipated 790 Adventure R prototype, which is also by the new 799cc LC8c parallel twin, it isn’t slated for production in 2018.
KTM will release details on its 2018 North American model lineup will be available on Friday, November 17 at the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show.
