Ducati North America is offering film fans and motorcycle enthusiasts the opportunity to own a piece of the upcoming movie “CHIPS.” The Hypermotard motorcycle, ridden in the film by Dax Shepard–who not only stars in but also wrote and directed the film–and co-star Michael Peña, will be up for auction on eBay For Charity.

Bidding for the Ducati Hypermotard will begin on March 16 at 12 p.m. PDT through March 26 at 12 p.m. PDT. Starting bids begin at $5,000. All proceeds from the auction will go to PATH, to support their mission to end homelessness for individuals, families, and communities. According to Joel John Roberts, CEO of PATH, “PATH is committed to ending homelessness, and with more than 118,000 people homeless in California, we depend on the support of dedicated community members to help us achieve our mission.”

The motorcycle has been autographed by Shepard and Peña, and is one of only two Hypermotards remaining from production that were used in the film. The auction is open to residents of the United States, Canada and Mexico over the age of 18, and delivery must be taken through a Ducati North America authorized dealer.
