Suzuki Announces Pricing, Colors and Availability for 2017 & 2018 New Models

We’ve been eyeing the new 2017 Suzuki V-Strom 650XT and 2018 V-Strom 1000XT ever since they were announced last fall, and now we know when we will start seeing them in dealerships, as well as all the other recently debuted Suzuki models.

The restyled “Wee-Strom” is now powered by the stronger, revised 645cc V-twin from the 2017 SV650 (read our review here), and now features a 3-mode TCS (traction control), Low RPM Assist and Easy Start System. A new vertically stacked headlight, new rear cargo rack and the ability to use accessories from the V-Strom 1000 models add safety and versatility. The off-road focused XT variation also includes spoked wheels with tubeless adventure-ready tires, hand guards, larger bar end weights and a lower engine protector.

With significant engine and chassis changes, including a bump in horsepower and 50-state emissions compliance, the GSX-S750 should be a contender in the middleweight naked bike category. We also like its new, edgier styling, which is reminiscent of its big brother, the GSX-S1000.
