Unlike a concept bike that might see production in a few years, BMW’s Vision machine is a sci-fi look 30-40 years into a possible future, when the dangers of riding and the need for a helmet and protective gear have been eliminated.
The Vision bike is at once a glimpse of the future and a homage to the very first BMW, the 1923 R32, with its triangular frame and white pinstripes on black, explained Director of Design Edgar Heinrich.
All four Vision machines were briefly on display in Los Angeles in October.
