Due to risk of breaking, the belt drive is a limitation off-road. A chain drive conversion kit is available for the DS but not for the DSR.
A (free) iOS/Android app functions as an extension of the instrument cluster, with data such as motor and torque output. It also allows the rider to adjust the top speed, power and torque settings in the Custom ride mode.
