Honda Ruckus fans take note—Big Red unveiled a concept bike last March at the Osaka Motorcycle Show that looks like a grown-up version of the popular 50cc scooter. It said the Bulldog “promotes a new world of leisure with motorcycles. The model was developed with the concept ‘Lovable Touring Partner,’ and was designed to go beyond the boundaries of conventional leisure motorcycles, to actively enjoy outdoor life.” OK, whatever—we say it looks like a fun mashup of Ruckus/Big Ruckus, Grom and adventure bike with a highway-ready engine.

The Bulldog has wide 15-inch tires, a low center of gravity and low, 28.7-inch seat height, and is powered by a liquid-cooled DOHC 400cc parallel twin. It’s equipped with a carrier suitable for camping-touring, and features accessory storage on the sides of the fuel tank, which also acts as a styling accent. No word on production plans as yet, but Honda usually ends up producing bikes this far along in the concept stage. We’ll see….
