The limited-edition Bonneville celebrating Johnny Allen’s 1956 land speed record set at the Bonneville Salt Flats was made to commemorate 100 years of land speed record setting at Bonneville. The Limited Edition Bonneville T214 Land Speed Edition comes with a special paint scheme using the distinctive colors of Johnny Allen’s “Texas Cee-Gar,” a Triumph Thunderbird 650 powered, methanol-fueled motorcycle with a streamlined bodyshell.

In 1956, Allen set the first of many land speed records by recording a two-way average of 214.4 mph. The T214 Limited Edition, based on the T100 Black, pays homage to the achievement. The hand-painted Caspian Blue and Pure White color scheme, complete with red-and-white checker detailing, echoes that of the 1956 Texas Cee-Gar. The blue front mudguard shares the same white star motif from the iconic streamliner. The shortened rear mudguard combined with blacked-out wheel rims, handlebar and rear suspension springs add to the look, which is complemented with red seat stitching detail and a smaller front headlight.

Limited to a total of 1,000 bikes worldwide, each individually numbered, the T214 is priced from $9,999. It will be in Triumph dealerships beginning in November 2014.

Triumph’s 2015 Street Triple Rx Special Edition combines aggressive style and looks, borrowing inspiration from its TT and Daytona 200-winning supersport sibling, the Daytona 675R. Its visual features include a new rear profile, a new Aluminum Silver paint scheme and revised graphics. The angular seat unit is transplanted from the Daytona to emphasize the aggressive stance.

New Matt Silver paint and deep Diablo Red details are complemented by the hand painted finish on the front and rear wheels. Triumph’s seat cowl, belly pan and fly screen complete the aesthetics.

The 675cc, 12-valve engine is derived from the Daytona 675, but is retuned for drive and acceleration and has a 6-speed gearbox. The refined chassis features an eight-piece, aluminum twin spar frame and two-piece die cast rear subframe, mated to 41mm KYB inverted front fork that is fully adjustable for preload, rebound and compression damping. Braking from twin 310mm floating discs is assisted by an anti-lock brake system, which can be switched off if required.

The new Street Triple Rx will be available in dealerships in February 2015 and will be priced at $11,199.

Also new for 2015 is the Bonneville Newchurch Special Edition, which has been styled to celebrate the annual international Triumph Tridays festival in Austria. Each year, thousands of Triumph fans head to the town of Neukirchen, which has its name changed to Newchurch for the weeklong Tridays party featuring mountain road rides, stunt shows and off-road dueling.

The Bonneville Newchurch wears blacked-out fenders, headlamp bowl, handlebars, mirrors and springs for a contemporary look, along with all black seven-spoke cast wheels.

The Bonneville Newchurch is powered by an air-cooled 865cc parallel twin engine with torque spread across a wide rev range for performance flexibility in any gear. The bike offers a low seat height, comfortable riding ergonomics and engaging handling. It will be available in Triumph dealerships in April 2015 and will be priced starting at $8,699.

All three 2015 Triumph Special Editions come with an unlimited mileage / two-year factory warranty. For more information, visit triumphmotorcycles.com.

  1. Do they make triumph in the UK or overseas?. as I ride a Goldwing my next bike will be the rocket 3. used to love my old triumphs my 69 Bonneville etc and was a member of the triumph owners club. lived in Australia since 92 mainly see Harleys but still lots of triumph here. good on you. hope still owned by UK. great machines love Triumph

  2. I can rarely stop for a gas fill up when someone doesn’t stop me to tell me a triumph Bonneville story from their past. Their love and admiration for the triumph name, and their experiences growing up in a Harley Davidson world. As a young 16 motorcycle novice, I was thrilled to ride my brother’s bonny, which I felt was like getting the keys to the space shuttle. I’m still thrilled to this day enjoying it’s dependable service and crowd gathering classic design. Thanks triumph!

  3. Have had the privilege of riding most UK motorcycle brands since the family were importers/distributors of most brands after WWII until the demise of the factories.
Triumph, BSA, Norton, Vincent, Sunbeam, Velocette, Ariel, Royal Enfield etc
Some models I had to ride for PR but my main bike was always a Triumph.
My brother and I have since then moved to Sydney, Australia. I, at age 80, still ride a Thruxton SE and my brother at 73 a Rocket 3.
I am still thinking of upgrading to the new Thruxton 1200cc.
We must have Triumph in our blood since the age of 12.
