LIQUID-COOLED TOURING OVERSEAS. IMTBike has added the 2014 BMW R 1200 RT to its fleet. This new model incorporates a revised version of the liquid-cooled boxer engine used in the 2013 R 1200 GS, along with improved chassis, aerodynamics, ergonomics, electronics and lighting (see test on page 26). The motorcycle is available on all of IMTBike’s tours, including the 8-day Perfect Pyrenees Tour (Aug. 30-Sept. 6), which features visits to Barcelona and the Tour de France mountain passes. The BMW is also available on the 17-day Providence and Tuscany Tour (Sept. 13-29), which includes visits to Barcelona, Andorra, Carcassonne, Avignon, French Riviera, Cinque Terre and San Gimignano.
