Aprilia USA has organized a 43-stop U.S. tour for the newly released Caponord 1200 ABS Travel Pack. The Caponord Demo Tour starts Thursday, May 22, kicking off the west coast leg at GP Bikes in San Diego, California, and east coast in Belleville, New Jersey, at Motorcycle Mall.
The coast-to-coast tour will showcase the capabilities of the new Caponord 1200 ABS Travel Pack. From May 22 through July 5, 2014, at one of Aprilia USA’s 43 participating dealerships, licensed riders can throw a leg over the Caponord and experience the excitement of the new adventure tourer first hand.
The Caponord 1200 ABS Travel Pack introduces “ADD – Aprilia Dynamic Damping”, the cutting-edge technology semi-active suspension system covered by four exclusive patents. Together with Ride-By-Wire multi-map accelerator, cruise control, adjustable traction control, as well as two-channel ABS, and standard equipment such as panniers and hand guards, the Aprilia Caponord 1200 ABS Travel Pack pushes the boundaries of performance, handling and safety among the adventure touring segment.
The Caponord demo units will also feature the new Aprilia Multimedia Platform accessory, connecting each bike through the AMP iphone app via Bluetooth, and allowing a rider’s phone to display and actively monitor Caponord performance data.
