North America’s largest motorcycle expo is back, in a new location: Columbus, Ohio. See all the latest motorcycles from BMW, Can-Am, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Indian, Kawasaki, Kymco, KTM, Slingshot, Suzuki and Yamaha, and you can even sign up for demo rides on-site.
In addition to bikes, you can check out riding apparel, gear and accessories, watch the AMA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, see custom motorcycles from Greenland to the tip of South America competing in the Championship of Americas Custom Bike Show, get your nostalgia on at the Retro Affair Vintage Motorcycle Show and, of course, stop by the Riders’ Garage for free seminars and presentations by industry insiders and 2-wheeled adventurers. We’ll even have a special women’s panel!
You can view the entire Riders’ Garage schedule here. For more information on the AIMExpo, visit aimexpousa.com.
Motomarathon will run both of its 2017 events out of Intrawest resort properties: Winter Park in Colorado and Snowshoe in West Virginia.
“Both locations are nationally known for skiing, mountain biking, and now for motorcycling,” said John Metzger, Motomarathon founder. “The twisty mountain roads of Colorado and West Virginia are tailor made for our long-distance motorcycle sport-touring format.”
The Colorado Motomarathon is set for Sept. 8-11, and the West Virginia Motomarathon for Sept. 28-Oct. 1. For a $50 fee, participants receive precisely engineered routes for four days of daylight riding.
Motomarathon routes are kept secret until the night before each day’s ride. Participants complete a series of self-recorded checkpoints, photographing their badge numbers at designated landmarks. Each rider will receive a paperback copy of Metzger’s new book, Meditation by Motorcycle – Riding Your Carbon Footprint to the Apex of Enlightenment.
