Hill Country Motorheads Vintage Motorcycle Museum Opens in Texas

Hill Country Motorheads MuseumOpened in March 2018, Hill Country Motorheads joins just a handful of motorcycle museums operating in Texas and offers more than 7,000 square feet of vintage street bikes, motocrossers, trials bikes, flat trackers, drag racers, choppers and memorabilia, mostly dating from the 1960s and ’70s.

With more than 200 motorcycles in the collection, around 70 are on rotated on display and represent brands like Harley-Davidson, Triumph, Norton, Vincent, Cheney, AJS, Maico, Much, Bultaco, Hodaka, Husqvarna, Montesa and more.

Hill Country Motorheads Vintage Motorcycle Museum is located at 2001 West Highway 29, Burnet, Texas, making it a great stop if you’re riding the famous “Twisted Sisters,” or are near Luckenbach, Llano, Austin, Fredericksburg and San Antonio. While you’re there, relax in the “man cave,” play pool, have a soft drink and snack, watch the big screen TVs and enjoy an eclectic assortment of vintage posters and photos.

Hill Country Motorheads MuseumThere is plenty of paved parking for all sizes of vehicles, trailers and bikes. The museum is handicap accessible and dog friendly. Operating hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for seniors and veterans/active duty military, and kids under 12 are free.

  1. Are you interested in any bikes for sale ? I have a Ducati Mountaineer that should be restored and seen, but my recent cancer diagnosis, surgery and prognosis doesn’t bode well for that happening in my hands. Thanks ….
