Ducati will be showcasing the new Panigale 1299 S Anniversario in its North American debut at Ducati Island during the World Superbike Championship races at Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway. The unveiling is scheduled for Saturday afternoon on July 9th, after the completion of the first World Superbike race.

Limited to 500 units, the Panigale 1299 S Anniversario is an homage to Ducati’s history, fitted with a 205-horsepower Superquadro L-twin engine. This was created to celebrate Ducati’s 90th anniversary, and features a distinctive special graphics package with gold-colored wheels, along with weight-saving enhancements like a lithium-ion battery and various pieces done in carbon fiber. It also includes a gold-colored titanium Akrapovic exhaust and incorporates the updated electronics of an evolved wheelie control and evolved traction control that now ultizes the motorycle’s lean angle.

Ducati Island, which is open to all attendees of the race, will also feature a Superbike Concorso displaying the history of the Ducati Superbike, rider experiences, World Superbike rider appearances, a custom Scrambler display, a track walk with riders, a retail store and various owners’ benefits at the exclusive Owners’ Lounge.
