BRP Joins Forces with Road Warrior Foundation for 2015 Ride

For a second year, BRP is joining forces with the Road Warrior Foundation by providing 2015 Can-Am Spyder RT vehicles to eight wounded U.S. Military veterans participating in the Foundation’s annual ride. The Road Warrior Ride will last eight days and cover 2,000 miles beginning in Sherbrooke, Québec, on June 5, and concluding in Key West, Florida, on June 12, 2015.

In 2014, BRP, through its Can-Am Spyder brand, teamed up with the Road Warrior Foundation to help raise funds to provide adventure therapy for wounded, ill and injured U.S. Military veterans. To date, BRP has helped raise more than $100,000, which has gone directly toward getting military veterans out on the open road to experience the thrill of riding.

“The 2015 Road Warrior Ride is all about providing a memorable experience that positively impacts wounded military veterans,” said Craig Anders, co-founder, Road Warrior Foundation. “In addition to our core group of riders, we anticipate a significant number of Can-Am Spyder owners from all over the country rallying behind us and joining different stages throughout.”

The ride will travel down the East Coast, stopping at some of the most scenic and iconic destinations along the Eastern Seaboard. Along the way, the group will ride some of the most amazing, challenging and exciting roads in North America.

“The Can-Am Spyder is getting more and more people out on the open road, and that aligns perfectly with the Road Warrior Foundation mission,” said Francois Tremblay, director, Global Marketing, Can-Am Spyder. “I’m hoping that the Spyder communities will rally and join the group to demonstrate their support to military veterans.”

Everyone is welcome to join the 2015 Road Warrior Ride at any point. Visit roadwarrior.org for live ride tracking, a detailed route and schedule, and a list of featured riders. Additionally, follow along via the official Can-Am Spyder Facebook page or @OfficialSpyder on Instagram and Twitter.
