The new “Gen 5” version of SU Luggage Racks from Happy Trails Products take advantage of fabrication equipment upgrades by cutting custom-shape plates to secure their universal Point1 mounting loops to the motorcycle. The new plate mounting system increases the strength and rigidity of the luggage system vs. traditional steel tubing construction. The plate system also allows easier installations by greatly reducing mounting hole drift during the manufacturing process. Gen 5 racks ($329) are available for the 2013 BMW R1200GS, BMW F800GS Adventure, Triumph Tiger Explorer and Husqvarna Terra TR650.
