The One Motorcycle Show and '21 Helmets' Exhibit Come to Austin

As part of the festivities surrounding the Red Bull Grand Prix Of the Americas, lovers of motorcycles, art, music and design are invited to East Austin later this month. The One Motorcycle Show, a free showcase of authentic custom motorcycles, and the “21 Helmets” exhibit, a one-off work of motorcycle helmet art (with helmets provided by Bell Helmets), will make its Texas debut on Friday and Saturday, April 19-20.

Featured custom motorcycles will be provided by Revival Cycles of Austin, See See Motorcycles, Deus Ex Machina, Roland Sands, Shinya Kimura and more. The “21 Helmets” exhibit will spotlight the unique expressions of 21 Austin artists when motorcycle helmets become the canvas. Both events will be complimented by interactive games, southern fare, beer and live music from Leo Rondeau, The Texas Tycoons, Possessed by Paul James, Mockingbird Loyals and Joshua Bain.

A motorcycle show for motorcyclists by motorcyclists, the event originated four years ago in Portland, Oregon, with the intention to unite the ever-growing motorcycle community and to celebrate the “one” bike that defines its owner and builder.

The free event is open to the public and kicks off Friday, April 19, from 6 p.m. to Midnight. It continues Saturday, April 20, from Noon to Midnight at 1100 East 5th Street in Austin, Texas.
